About Mi-De-Doodles

Australian Labradoodles

How is an Australian Labradoodle different from a regular labradoodle?

This is one of my favorite questions! An Australian Labradoodle is actually a completely different breed from a standard labradoodle. While a regular Labradoodle is simply a lab crossed with a Poodle, the Australian Labradoodle has been multi-generationally developed over decades with intentional infusions of Labrador, Poodle and Cocker Spaniel to create a consistent, predictable dog. That means you can count on that gorgeous non-shed fleece coat, that intuitive temperament, and that calm people focused personality-litter after litter. It's not luck. It's generation of purposeful breeding.

How do you socialize your puppies before they go home?

Our puppies don't just sit in a pen waiting to grow up-they're right in the middle of our daily life from day one. We use Early Neurological Stimulation starting in the first week, and as they grow we expose them to different sounds, surfaces, people and experiences. By the time they leave for their new homes, they've already had a head start on being confident, well-adjusted dogs. We raise them the way we'd want our own puppy raised.

What health guarantees do you offer with your puppies?

Every Mi-de-doodle puppy goes home with a health guarantee backed by our commitment to responsible breeding. We stand behind the genetics of our dogs because we've done the work upfront ensure they're sound. Our contract covers genetic health conditions and we're always available to talk through any concerns that come up. We don't disappear after the deposit clears-we're your partner in this for the long haul.

Can I visit your facility or meet the parent dogs?

We love connecting with our puppy families! We do require an appointment rather than drop-in visits. This protects the health and safety of our dogs and puppies from outside exposures. We're also happy to do video calls so you can meet mom, see the puppies get a feel for how they're being raised. For our families traveling from out of state-and we have families from Montana to Maine and even internationally-we make sure you feel completely confident before your puppy ever gets on a plane or in a car. At 6 weeks we offer a puppy visitation day.

What support do you provide after my puppy comes home?

We're in it for the life of your dog, not just the sale. When you bring home a Mi-de-doodles puppy, you're joining our family. We send our puppies home with a puppy packet full of everything you need to get started and we're always just a message away when questions come up. Whether it's a potty training question at 2 weeks in or a grooming question two years later, we genuinely love hearing from our families and watching these puppies grow up. Our community of Mi-de-doodles families is one of our favorite parts of what we do.

Goldendoodles

Are Goldendoodles really hypoallergenic?

This is one of the most common questions we get, and we want to give you an honest answer! No dog is 100% hypoallergenic-but our Goldendoodles are about as close as it gets. Because they inherit the Poodle's low-shedding coat, most people with mild to moderate allergies do wonderfully with a goldendoodle. Our parent dogs are carefully selected for coat quality, which means our puppies consistently produce the beautiful, low-shed fleece and wavy coats the allergy-sensitive families love. We always recommend spending time with the breed before committing if your allergies are severe.

What size Goldendoodle is right for my family?

Goldendoodles come in a range of sizes and honestly there's a perfect fit for just about every family! Mini goldendoodles typically mature between 15-35 pounds and are great for smaller home or families who want a more compact companion. Medium goldendoodles land around 35-50 pounds-that sweet spot that big enough to keep up with active kids but not so large they take over the whole couch. Standard Goldendoodles can reach 50-65 pounds are are perfect for families who want a bigger, adventure-ready dog. Not sure which size is right for you? Reach out and we will help you figure it out.

If you're looking for a dog that's intelligent, affectionate, playful and genuinely want to be with you every moment of the day-a Goldendoodle might just be your perfect match. They thrive in active families but are equally happy curling up on the couch after a long day. They're eager to [lease which makes training a joy, and their social, gentle nature makes them wonder with children and other pets. The one thing we always tell families is the Goldendoodles need people-they don't do well being left alone for long stretches. If you have love to give, they will give it right back tenfold.

What health testing do you do on your Goldendoodle Parent dogs?

Health testing is non-negotiable at Mi-de-doodles-it's the foundation of everything we do. Our Goldendoodle parent dogs are tested for hips, elbows, eyes, heart and genetic diseases before they ever produce a litter. We believe you deserve complete transparency about the health of your puppy's parents and we're happy to share all testing results with our families. Breeding healthy, sound dogs isn't just good practice-it's our commitment to you and to the breed

What kind of grooming do Mini Goldendoodles require?

Mini goldendoodles are low shedding but their beautiful coats do require regular maintenance to keep them looking and feeling their best. We recommend brushing your puppy at least 2-3 times a week to prevent matting-daily brushing is even better. It's especially important around ears, collar area, and legs where tangle to form first. Professional grooming every 6-8 weeks will keep their coat at a manageable length and their overall appearance tidy and adorable. We actually love this part of Goldendoodle ownership because it becomes a wonderful bonding experience between you and your dog. We'll send you home with grooming recommendations and tips so you feel completely confident caring for your puppy's coat from day one
