  • Buyer bears all costs relating to the sale of the above animal. The risk of loss or injury to the above animal is on the buyer at all times after the doodle puppy leaves the seller.
  • The buyer agrees to have the doodle puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within three (3) business days of taking possession and a copy of the Vet Chart Notes will be emailed to Mi-De Doodles @ deannafritsch@msn.com We encourage you to book this vet visit far in advance to make sure you can get visit in 3 days. If for some reason this isn’t possible please discuss with breeder prior to pickup.
  • If the doodle puppy is found to be in poor health, the buyer has the option of returning the doodle puppy to the seller, at buyer’s cost, for a full refund or a puppy from the same or future litter within 12 months. This is the only circumstance under which you may receive a refund of the puppy once you complete purchase.
  • The buyer will provide a written statement from a licensed veterinarian clearly stating defect or illness.
  • If the puppy is not taken to a licensed veterinarian within the three-business days, and the vet chart note is not emailed to breeder, the health warranty is void. You may email it to deannafritsch@msn.com
  • Please ensure that the doodle puppy is kept in a kennel or held in the waiting room of a veterinary office, and that exam room is properly disinfected before appointment.
  • Do not let puppy walk on the floor in the veterinary office and ensure the room was cleaned prior to putting your puppy on the table. I recommend bringing a clean towel or blanket with you and placing it on examination table.
  • The buyer is responsible for all medical expenses associated with the treatment of intestinal parasites if puppy is diagnosed with them. They will have a clean bill of health before going to your home but it is common for parasites to flourish after joining their new family due to stress and change in accommodations.
  • Most parasites can be contagious, and it is possible that other dogs in the house can get them. Your vet may suggest treating all animals at the same time.
  • Do not let other dogs eat puppy’s feces and clean it up immediately.
  • The buyer agrees to provide the best possible care for their puppy. This includes:
  • Feeding a premium quality dog food. With larger breed dogs over 50# we suggest a large breed puppy food.
  • Maintaining a healthy weight. This is especially important to maintain healthy joints.
  • Keep your doodle properly groomed. Prevent matting because it is painful for the puppy.
  • Have your doodle examined by a licensed veterinarian annually
  • Keeping all immunizations current according to the guidelines of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Please note that the only REQUIRED vaccine in most states is for Rabies. Therefore we leave it to your discretion to determine if you wish to continue with vaccines. We don’t recommend lepto or lyme vaccines and encourage you to research those thoroughly before allowing vet to administer them.
  • Administering heartworm preventative medication (if living in an area of concern)
  • Registration of a microchip
  • The seller highly recommends providing basic obedience training with their puppy within the first year of its life.
  • The buyer agrees to postpone strenuous FORCED exercise until after their 1st birthday. This includes running with your doodle, biking, treadmills, using stairs for exercise, strenuous hikes etc. Doing strenuous exercise may increase risks for hip dysplasia.
  • Buyer agrees to contact seller immediately if the buyer determines they are unable to keep their puppy for any reason. The buyer and seller will agree as to how the puppy will be rehomed. Seller will make every effort to help buyer find a home without returning puppy to seller.

Mi-de Doodles is unable to offer refunds/replacement on a puppy for the following reasons:

  • Puppy has developed a chronic health issue-skin, urinary tract infections, allergies etc. We do our utmost best to assure that our puppies are healthy when they leave. But just as children can develop health issues, so can puppies. You must be willing to assume responsibility for things that may occur. It is our hope that you will always love your puppy like you would a child and be willing to do anything for it.
  • Behavioral issues. Things such as jumping, biting, potty accidents, resource guarding, barking, chewing etc. need to be prevented or corrected with training. We are not dog trainers. We are breeders who always do our best to breed dogs with great temperaments. However, puppies need training. This is why we suggest you start with Baxter and Bella as soon as your puppy gets home. Otherwise, you may find a few weeks or months after you have your puppy that you will have to spend more money correcting a problem that has now become a habit.
  • Puppy is more work than you anticipated. Please take puppy ownership seriously. We know it’s a lot of work. We work with puppies every day. But if you will commit to your puppy for the first year of it’s life, the remaining years will be extremely rewarding. Just as a child would need guidance, so does your puppy.

There will be NO REFUNDS issued for a puppy returned to us after 1 week of ownership for ANY REASON. We recognize sometimes you are no longer able to care for your puppy so we suggest you have a plan in place for re-homing your puppy should it become necessary. Returning a puppy to us can put the health of other puppies or breeding dogs in our care at risk.

We will accept a puppy back within the first week only if the puppy has been shown to be in poor health as noted from the 3 day vet visit. At that time we will offer a full refund or another puppy from a current litter-or if all current puppies are sold- a future litter (within 1 year) at the same or lesser value.

  • Buyer agrees to NEVER place your puppy with a rescue group, in a shelter, pound or similar facility or research laboratory.
  • Buyer certifies they are not acting as an agent for another individual in the purchase of this puppy

Pet Insurance

- Mi-De Doodles policy is that each puppy requires insurance coverage for at least 30 days. It is highly recommended that you carry it for at least 2 years. Unexpected events like a broken leg or eating a sock that needs to be surgically removed can be very expensive. And you don’t want to wait until some pre-existing condition shows up to try and get insurance. This is part of being a responsible pet owner. It can usually be purchased for around $30-$50 per month or less. We provide 30 days of FREE insurance when a puppy is picked up. It is your responsibility to see that it is activated. We will not release puppy until insurance is activated. This is for your protection. ( See section I. under Seller’s Responsibilities)

Microchip

Puppy will be microchipped, and we ask that you register it within 3 days of receiving puppy. It is very simple to do, and lifetime registration is included in price of puppy. Be sure to always update information if you move. Mi-De Doodles is locked in as secondary contact person for the lifetime of the dog.

Spay and Neuter

The latest research shows that for dogs that will be over 43 pounds, it is best to wait until dog is 1 year old before having it spayed or neutered. Studies at UC DAVIS on thousands of dogs show an increase of roughly 10-15% of hip and joint problems with early spaying. Due to this information and to prolong the healthy lifespan of your dog, we request that you delay spay/neuter between 12-24 months unless you are purchasing a dog that we believe will remain under 35#. There is also belief that many cancers are a result of an early spay/neuter. Any spay/neuter before 6 months of age for mini’s or 9 months of age for mediums will void health warranty. All of our puppies are sold as pet only and must not be used for breeding unless there is an addendum added. Violation of this will result in damages being owed of $10,000. You may receive an agreement from Spay Secure to confirm you will have the puppy spayed/neutered. Not everyone will get this-only if the stud owner requires it. Please sign and return before puppy pick up.

MUTUAL NON-DISPARAGEMENT

- The Buyer agrees not to make public negative statements or communications disparaging The Breeder or its agents, products, members, directors or officers. If the Buyer does make public negative statements in any social or public platform, the health guarantee is void. Public communications also include electronic platforms. The Seller (Including its agents, members, directors and officers) agrees not to make public negative or disparaging statements or communications about the Buyer. This clause is not violated when statements and evidence is required in response to legal proceedings in which both parties have agreed to subject themselves to resolve a dispute outside the boundaries of this contract. Including, but not limited to, evidence supplied for court filings, depositions, and hearings.

COUNTY OF INITIATION AND FINALIZATION

- It is deemed that this contract is initiated and finalized in the County and State the Breeder resides in. Any legal action brought by the Buyer or the Breeder will be preceded with a court-appointed mediator. Any legal action will be ignited only in the county of initialization and finalization which is Perry County and the State of Ohio.

AGREEMENT TO TERMS

- By signing this contract, I agree to ALL previous terms of Mi-De Doodles contract and warranty. The terms of this contract last the puppy’s entire life.
